About
My decision to become a gastroenterologist grew from personal experience with my father's diagnosis of bile duct cancer. As a GI physician, I identify with concerns patients and their families may have. As a partner in your care, I strive to ensure that you understand the diagnosis, and why tests and treatments are warranted.
Good communication with patients and primary physicians is of utmost importance. I expect myself and my staff to be responsive to questions and needs. When explaining a significant test result or diagnosis I call personally. I call patients on weekends and holidays if needed. My goal is to ensure that patients are seen quickly. I provide a complete care - from diagnosis, to treatment and follow up.
In addition to general gastroenterology, my clinical interests are inflammatory bowel disease, Barrett's esophagus and GI cancer staging. I am trained in endoscopic ultrasound, radiofrequency ablation, video capsule endoscopy, mucosal resection, feeding tube placement, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, music and spending time with my wife and two children.
