Urology
Urologists focus on the entire urinary tract – which includes the bladder, kidneys and the male reproductive organs – and treat a wide range of conditions and complaints, including:
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (more commonly known as an enlarged prostate)
- Bladder and kidney cancer
- Erectile dysfunction
- Kidney stones
- Overactive bladder
- Hernias
- Male infertility
- Prostate and testicular cancer
- Urinary incontinence
- Urinary tract infections
Urologists offer minimally-invasive surgical techniques whenever possible, including robotic surgery for prostate cancer, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal. They sometimes work with other surgeons in complex cases.
