About
I met a woman in my hometown who was a physician when I was six years old and was inspired by the idea that a woman could pursue medicine as a profession. It was at that moment I knew I would grow up and be a family doctor.
I am a physician for all ages. I welcome families with infants and am also experienced caring for elderly patients. I believe in listening to my patients and greatly value the exchange of information. My philosophy is: “If you are willing to put your hand to something, do it to the best of your ability”, and my motto is: “compassion, cooperation and communication.”
Having worked in both urgent care settings and private practices, I am skilled in many in-office procedures, such as: biopsies, mole removal, toe-nail removal, stitches and other dermatological concerns. In addition, I am well-versed in women’s health, diabetes management and geriatric medicine.
I have dedicated my life to being an approachable, caring physician. I chose Family Medicine because of the broad scope of issues I can address with my patients. I have a passion for knowledge and I am committed to continuous learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cycling, horseback riding, crocheting and playing piano, as well as spending time with my husband and four children.
