About
I chose to specialize in Endocrinology because it coordinates and regulates various physiological processes through hormones, much like a conductor directing a symphony.
The endocrine system is a marvel of precision. Hormones regulate functions like growth, metabolism, mood, and reproductive health with exquisite timing and balance. I tell my patients that understanding and supporting their hormonal health can unlock vitality and well-being, helping every aspect of their bodies perform at its best.
As an endocrinologist, I treat and manage various hormone issues, including:
- Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational)
- Thyroid disorders (hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism nodules, and all types of thyroid cancers)
- Adrenal gland disorders (Cushing's, Addison's)
- Pituitary gland disorders (adenomas, hypopituitarism)
- Osteoporosis and bone metabolism disorders
- Obesity and metabolic syndrome
- Menopause and hormone replacement therapy
- Reproductive hormone disorders (PCOS, infertility)
- Lipid disorders (high cholesterol, triglycerides)
- Endocrine hypertension (due to hormone imbalance)
My goal is to provide comprehensive, tailored care to ensure optimal hormone balance and overall health.
Patients appreciate my compassionate approach, commitment to their well-being, attentive listening, and thorough explanations that empower them to make informed decisions.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures and languages. Cooking is my creative outlet, and I love nurturing my wonderful, supportive family with delicious meals.
Languages spoken: English, Farsi, Turkish, and Pashto.
