About
As a neurosurgeon, I specialize in traditional, minimally-invasive and microsurgical neurosurgery and complex spinal operations. I provide patient-centered treatment for tumor, trauma and peripheral nerve diseases and disorders – as well as stroke care and interventional procedures.
In my field, the patient’s problems are most often critical in nature – which means the right treatment can be a huge difference-maker in quality of life. It’s an honor to take people from care-dependence, or even high risk of death, to life and independence. Lessening or stopping nerve pain is a fantastic thing to be able to do. That’s where being a neurosurgeon is at its best.
I prioritize openness and honesty with my patients as we partner together to build trust and bring them back to their highest level of functioning.
When I’m not with patients, I love spending time with my family, playing golf, cycling and gardening. I love Tucson because of all the big-city and small-town joys and opportunities it offers.
