About
Friendly, compassionate, and methodical, my childhood family doctor treated, counseled, and cared for generations of my family. His kind demeanor, knowledge, and detailed approach towards providing patient care not only inspired my path into medicine, but shaped my core values as a doctor today.
After graduating university and medical school, I found my calling in the practice of family medicine because of its versatility of care – impacting all ages from newborn and up. Shortly after, I joined the Indiana University of Medicine as a family medicine resident where I received extensive training in all facets of patient care, including obesity medicine; diabetes; infant and pediatric care; women’s health; clinical skin procedures; and adult, geriatric, and inpatient hospital care.
Building trust between doctor and patient starts on day one. I strive to take time to learn about each patient’s medical history and actively listen to any health concerns, then work collaboratively to form a treatment plan best suited to their overall health and well-being. I am compassionate, positive, friendly and thorough.
My patients would say that my energy and friendliness helps fosters a lively atmosphere that helps them feel trusted and understood.
Outside the office, I enjoy training for and running marathons, cooking, hiking, and traveling with my husband.
