About
As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, I view my role as a partner in helping patients live their best lives. I enjoy connecting with patients and tailoring care plans to meet their unique needs in order to create a positive patient experience and an excellent outcome.
Whether our plan involves non-operative care or surgery, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to address both general and complex orthopedic needs. Much of my clinical focus is on the following:
- Nonsurgical care of musculoskeletal conditions such as tendonitis, arthritis, sprains, strains, bursitis, and pain conditions
- Joint replacement, including robotic partial and total knee replacements; total shoulder and reverse total shoulder replacements; and robotic total hip replacement
- Fracture care (both surgical and nonsurgical)
- Minimally-invasive arthroscopic knee surgeries, including cartilage restoration and repair; meniscus repair and meniscectomy; ACL and multi-ligament reconstruction; patellar maltracking and instability, and limb alignment/deformity
- Minimally-invasive arthroscopic surgeries of the shoulder for labral repair and shoulder instability, biceps tendon injuries, rotator cuff repair, and acromioclavicular joint injuries
In addition, I am fellowship-trained in sports medicine. Throughout my training, I joined the team physicians for professional sports teams, including the Cincinnati Bengals and the FC Cincinnati Soccer Club. More recently, I served as the team physician for the FC Tucson Soccer Club and assist with Pusch Ridge Academy Athletics. Additionally, I participated in medical mission trips to Guatemala and Uganda.
As Midwest transplants, my growing family and I are exploring everything the Southwest has to offer. Spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants and listening to live music are just a few activities I enjoy outside the office.
