About
As a gastroenterologist, I enjoy working with patients and helping them take good care of their health before illness has a chance to develop. When physicians and patients work together, we can do a world of wonder by using preventive medicine. As it’s so often said, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
As a board-certified gastroenterologist, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions and diseases affecting the digestive system and gastrointestinal tract. This includes colon cancer prevention, hepatitis, peptic ulcer disease, colitis, nutritional problems, and irritable bowel syndrome. My aim is to provide accurate and thorough healthcare for patients suffering from these and other issues.
Having performed colonoscopies and endoscopies on a daily basis for over 30 years, I wish to reassure all my patients of the benefits of these procedures. I tell any patient over the age of 45 that a routine screening colonoscopy is one of the most lifesaving things we can do, so it’s important not to be afraid. My years of experience performing GI procedures with sedation should reassure my patients that they will be both safe and comfortable.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, grown children and grandchildren. We are huge Arizona Wildcat fans.
