About
I am a board-certified gastroenterologist with nearly 20 years in practice. I also have completed training in advanced clinical and transplant hepatology. After spending time in academic care in Saint Louis, I moved to Tucson for my practice.
My approach to patient care is simple; don’t rush and spend time and listen. I never consider my patients as a client or customer, for me they are individuals who are in need of medical care and I strive to provide it with utmost care.
I manage all aspects of gastrointestinal and hepatological diseases. I am fully trained in all modalities of diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus, ERCP and PEG tube placement.
When I am not involved in patient care, I enjoy playing cricket, tennis, hiking and spending time with family.
Languages spoken: English, Urdu.
