About
As an internal medicine and fellowship-trained integrative medicine physician who has practiced medicine in Tucson for over 20 years, Dr. Finley embraces flexible, patient-centered care and a broad concept of wellness – one that involves your relationships as well as your body, mind, and spirit. When you prioritize self-care and strive to reach your full wellness potential, you’ll align more closely with your overall sense of purpose – and you’ll inspire your larger communities to do the same.
Dr. Finley began her career delivering primary care to medically underserved communities in a clinic and hospital setting, where she developed the clinical skills to manage multiple chronic conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease. Then, she transitioned into practicing integrative medicine at Canyon Ranch – a wellness resort with a holistic approach to caring for patients. In addition, she serves in an adjunct faculty role with the Health Promotion Sciences Division at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Finley says, "These experiences helped me develop many areas of professional experience – especially healthcare equity, inclusion, and the importance of cultural humility for providers. Each patient is shaped by unique and constantly-evolving cultural factors, so effective providers stay humble – ready to listen and ready to learn. This approach helps patients feel seen, heard, centered, and fundamentally in charge of their care."
As part of the Northwest Healthcare residency program, she focuses on preventive and lifestyle approaches in ambulatory medicine, and strives to educate and mentor resident physicians at the beginning of their careers.
Dr. Finley currently serves as an attending physician for our resident physicians in the Graduate Medical Education program. She does not see patients of her own at this time.
